Thomas Cook Airlines is part of the Thomas Cook Group, which has recently merged with the MyTravel brand. MyTravel and Thomas Cook Airlines will now operate under the name of Thomas Cook Airlines. Thomas Cook was founded in 1841 and it is now the second largest travel agency in the world. Thomas Cook Airlines are based at Manchester Airport, but fly to destinations from 18 airports across the United Kingdom. Although primarily flying from the United Kingdom to Europe, the airline also offers routes to Canada, the Americas, East Africa and Asia.

Thomas Cook Airlines operates a single cabin on short haul flights, offering the opportunity to purchase additional services for its flights online, to enhance the flying experience. Seat reservations can be made up to three days before departure. Champagne and chocolate packages are available for special celebrations. There are VIP lounges at several UK airports and access to these may be purchased online, and can be purchased as part of VIP packages offering lounge access, seat reservations and priority boarding. It is also possible to buy a reasonably priced three course meal on the flight.

On long haul flights, three classes are available. These are TC Traveller, TC Traveller Plus and TC Premium. In all classes, an inflight meal and entertainment is available. In TC Traveller Plus and TC Premium, there is an additional baggage allowance and priority check-in, amongst other benefits.

To minimise its environmental impact, Thomas Cook Airlines now serves all meals in biodegradable packaging.
