Easyjet is a UK based low cost airline which was founded in 1995 and is based at London Luton airport (on the outskirts of London). It has flights to 79 destinations across the UK and Europe and 2 destinations in North Africa. It has a fleet of Airbus A319s and Boeing 737s, with the average age of the fleet being 2.2 years, making it one of the youngest fleets in Europe. Passenger numbers have increased from 30 thousand in 1995 to 33 million in 2006.

To offer low airfares, Easyjet operates on a no-frills basis, by providing ticketless travel, internet based bookings, unallocated seating and fast turnaround times at airports. Easyjet allows checked baggage of up to 20kg per passenger (up to 8 bags allowed), upon payment of a fee per bag. Food and drinks are available for purchase on the aircraft.

Easyjet has a priority system for boarding its aircraft. Passengers who purchase the Speedy Boarding option may board the aircraft first. Those passengers who check-in online have priority over passengers who check in at the airport for aircraft boarding.

Easyjet caters to the business traveller and has a dedicated business booking website, offering companies a Unique Company Identifier. Easyjet has lounges at its major airport bases, for passenger use prior to boarding their flight. Entry to these lounges can be purchased via the website. Facilities available include complimentary drinks and snacks and access to business facilities.

Easyjet does not have a frequent flyer programme.
