Ibiza is the third largest island of the Balearic Islands, in the Mediterranean Sea. It is a party & clubbing capital with plenty of cheap flights, cheap package holidays and hotel options available from the UK.

Ibiza Beaches

Ibiza has numerous sandy beaches, many of which have been awarded Blue Flags, to show their high quality and cleanliness. 

Playa d’en Bossa – this beach is one of the longest on the island and has shallow waters, making it popular with families.  There are many cafes and restaurants along the beach from which to purchase refreshments.  One of the best known beach bars is the Bora Bora bar. 

Las Salinas – Las Salinas beach is around 8 miles from Ibiza Town and is popular with those who wish to lie on the beach soaking up the sun, and those who wish to engage in watersports.  There are plenty of facilities at the beach, including beach bars. 

Cala San Vicente – this beach is situated in the north east of the island, and gets less crowded than those around San Antonio.  Sunbeds are available for hire at the beach. 

Cala Bassa – Cala Bassa is reached by ferry from San Antonio.  The sea is shallow and therefore many families choose to visit this beach.  There are some restaurants at the beach. 

Ibiza Clubs

Clubs are mainly located in San Antonio and Ibiza Town.  Some of the most popular clubs in Ibiza are Space, Pacha, Amnesia and DC10.  The clubs are generally open between May and October, and attract many big name DJs to play at them, such as Judge Jules and Paul Oakenfold. 

Scenic Tour Train

A good way to see the attractions of the island is to take the 2 hour tourist train ride. Also known as the ‘choo choo’ trains, the trains offer an easy way to admire all that Ibiza has to offer.

Formentera

Formentera is one of the smaller Balearic islands located close to Ibiza.  The island is relatively unspoilt and its main feature is numerous beautiful beaches, such as the Playa Llevant.  Regular ferries operate between the two islands, with the trip taking approximately 45 minutes.
