Huelva is an port town on the western side of the Costa de la Luz.  It is relatively small in size, but has many interesting features, including the Iglesia de San Pedro and the Plaza de las Monjas.  Visitors interested in a golfing holiday will find many golf courses within a small radius of Huelva. An international airport at Huelva is being planned, but the nearest airport currently is at Jerez, which is served by low cost airlines such as Ryanair and Monarch Airlines, as well as by British Airways and Iberia.
