Disneyland Paris was opened in April 1992 and consists of Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park.  The resort is located approximately 30 Kilometres from Paris’ city centre.  Since its opening Disneyland Paris has become one of Europe’s most popular tourist destinations.

The park comprises five lands, all with their own unique character.

Main Street USA

Main Street is modelled on circa 1900 USA.  This takes visitors back in time with its old world attractions, such as horse drawn carriages and Victorian style buildings.

Frontierland

Frontierland gives visitors the opportunity to experience the wild west USA.  Some of the attractions in Frontierland include a paddle steamboat, a runaway train, Pocahontas’ Indian village and the Rustler Roundup Shootin’ gallery.

Adventureland

Adventureland is where visitors come face to face with movie characters such as Indiana Jones and Swiss Family Robinson.  Some of the attractions in Adventureland include Pirates of the Caribbean, Pirates Beach and Indiana Jones and the Temple of peril.

Discoveryland

Discoveryland gives visitors the chance to experience life in the future.  Main attractions are Space Tours, where R2D2 takes you on a fantastic ride, Space Mountain, Honey I Shrunk the Audience and Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast.

Fantasyland

Fantasyland is where some of Disney’s favourite animation pictures become reality.  Fantasyland is known as Disney’s happiest land.  Fantasyland is home to dome of Disney’s most popular attractions including; Mad Hatters Tea Cups, Sleeping Beauty Castle and Alices Curious Labyrinth.

 
Accommodation

There are 14 Disneyland hotels to choose from at Disneyland Paris.  Seven of these are Disney owned hotels and the other 7 are partner hotels.  Each hotel has a distinct and unique character.  Hotels at Disneyland Paris include Disneyland Hotel, Hotel New York, Newport Bay Club, Sequoia Lodge, Hotel Cheyenne, Hotel Santa Fe and Davy Crockett Ranch.  There is an abundance of options for eating in Disneyland Paris.  There are approximately 70 restaurants, catering to all tastes including, Italian, American, Seafood and Tex-Mex. 

Golf Disneyland

There is an 18 hole and 9 hole golf course located a few kilometres form the main resort.  The course is open 7 days a week and is suitable for golfers of all abilities, from beginners to experienced professionals.

Getting There

The Disneyland Paris resort is approximately 46kms from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG).  The UK is well served for services to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG).  Flybe, British Airways, Easyjet and Air France all operate regular services form various UK airports to Paris.
