Salou

Port Aventura Theme Park

The Port Aventura Theme Park is located in Salou and is one of the premier theme parks on the Costa Dorada.  Impressive rides at the park include the Dragon Khan roller coaster and water rides.  To avoid queuing to buy tickets, these can be pre-purchased in the UK. 

Aquopolis Water Park

The Aquopolis Water Park is situated in La Pineda and close to the resort of Salou.  There is a huge choice of water slides and rides, with dolphin and sea lion shows also running during the day.  There are plenty of places to sunbathe at the park.  Barcelona The city of Barcelona is close to the Costa Dorada and is a popular day trip for visitors to the area.  Major sights in Barcelona include Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia Church and La Rambla, where street entertainers are to be found entertaining visitors to the many cafes.

How to get there  - Reus Flights

The main airport on the Costa Dorada is Reus Airport.  Flights are available with many airlines, including Thomas Cook Airlines from Cardiff, Gatwick and Newcastle, Thomsonfly from Belfast, Birmingham and Bournemouth and First Choice from Bristol, Stansted and East Midlands.  Ryanair also fly to Reus from London Luton and London Stansted, as well as from other UK airports.  An alternative airport for travellers to the Costa Dorada is Barcelona. www.costadoradaspain.com
