Carvoeiro - Holiday resort information

Carvoeiro has a lovely sandy beach which is straddled by cliffs on either side, making for a breathtaking sight.

As with a lot of the villages along the Algarve coast, Carvoeiro was once a fishing village   , until it was discovered by tourists.  Carvoeiro has a lovely sandy beach which is straddled by cliffs on either side, making for a breathtaking sight.  There are some lovely quaint restaurants and bars in the town which is not far from the beach.  Carvoeiro has carefully maintained its character, with no brash highrise developments to be seen.  Faro Airport (FAO) is approximately a 1 hour drive from Carvoeiro.  British airways, Easyjet and Monarch Airlines all operate regular services to Faro from the UK.
