The town of Arras is situated in northern France, which has many sites of historical interest.  At the heart of the town are the Grande Place and the Place des Heroes.  The Town Hall in the Place des Heroes as a World Heritage listed belfry.   In September every year, there are fireworks from the top of the belfry.  Between the end of November and during December, there is a large Christmas Market in Arras.  Arras is linked to Paris by train, and flights to Paris are available with many carriers including Air France and bmi.
